In this blog tutorial, I will show you how to plant sugar cane in Minecraft in an easy step-by-step process. Sugar cane is a common crop ground in Minecraft and is very easy to grow, so it’s a great crop to start with for beginners. Sugar cane is also very useful because it can be crafted into sugar and paper, which are essential for crafting other items in the game. For example, paper can be crafted into banners, books, and maps. Sugar, on the other hand, can be used to make cakes and potions of swiftness.

STEP 1. Find a Sugar Cane First

Sugar cane that is spawned organically in the world can usually be found near a water source. They can generate it most biomes in Minecraft, so it shouldn’t be very hard to find! To grab sugar cane, give it a quick punch, then you’ll be able to pick it up. Remember, sugar cane is only found near a water source.

STEP 2. How to Grow Sugar Cane

Once you have sugar cane in your inventory, you’ll have to decide where you want to grow it. Sugar cane can be planted on grass, dirt, and sand, as long as it’s next to a water source.
