Minecraft: How to Build an Easy Mushroom House (Step-by-Step) Tutorial
STEP 1. Find a Good Looking Mushroom
The first step is the find a good looking mushroom (like the photo shown above)! Make sure the mushroom is at least two blocks high from the ground to the bottom of the mushroom.
Remove the bottom layer of the mushroom all around.
Remove the entire mushroom stem. Punch one block above the top of the stem into the mushroom (as shown above).
STEP 2. Build the Walls
To build the walls, use stripped dark oak logs and leave one empty column in between each wall.
Place an upside down dark oak stairs in between the stripped dark oak log. This will serve as the front entrance to the mushroom house.
Next, for the remainder empty columns, place an upside down dark oak stairs above and a regular facing stair on the bottom leaving a one block opening in between the stripped dark oak logs.
STEP 3. Add Flooring
Inside, dig one block down and place oak planks for the floors.
STEP 4. Add the Doors and Windows
Place a dark oak door in the opening from the inside of the house. This will create more depth.
Place a white stained glass pane throughout the remaining openings to complete the windows.
STEP 4. Finish the Roof
Place dark oak slabs on the top half of the third stripped dark oak log block.
Do the same thing in this corner.
Then continue repeating this step until you the entire mushroom house is wrapped.

STEP 5. Exterior Décor and Landscape Design
Place two mossy cobblestone walls on each side of the door with a flower pot and poppy. Dress the front door with a light gray carpet.
Dig two blocks down.
Place a glowstone at the bottom.
Then, place an oak trapdoor on the block above the glowstone.
Then, place dark oak leaves on top of the oak trapdoor.
Complete with dark oak fence sign. Repeat this process at each corner of the house.
Dig three blocks in front of the window to add podzol, lily of the valley, and a red mushroom. Repeat this in front of the remaining windows.
STEP 6. Carrot Farm
Use a shovel to create a path to the small carrot farm. In order to make a carrot farm, you need to create a 3x3 layout with a hoe, punch one block in the middle to pour water, and add your carrots to grow.
STEP 7. Furnish the Interior
Armor stand with armor
