Learn how to build a Minecraft cottagecore mushroom house that has that aesthetic, fairycore vibe. This survival house comes equipped with basic survival items like a bed, crafting table, furnace, and plenty of storage space. Read on to learn how to make a simple and easy darling mushroom cottage.
Minecraft: How to Build a Cottagecore Mushroom House
STEP 1. Layout Dimensions
Start off with a simple 5x5 layout.
STEP 2. Flooring
Place dark oak planks to complete the flooring as shown above.
STEP 3. Build the Walls
Place stripped oak logs at each corner of the house and fill the walls with mushroom stem as shown in the photo examples above. You will build 3 blocks up and leave an opening at the front of the house for a door, and a single opening in the middle of the wall on the west, east, and south-facing side of the house.
STEP 4. Build the Roof
Place red mushroom blocks on top of the walls 2 blocks up.
Next, fill the inner opening with red mushroom one block up.
Repeat the previous step and follow the pattern above.
This is what your house should look like so far!
To complete the roof, place an oak slab on the top half of the 3rd block around the house.
The front (north-facing) of the house features an oak door and oak stairs placed upside down right above.
The windows featured on each side of the house contains a white stained glass pane window and oak trapdoors.
